Introducing the Habenero Pepper
Throughout most of history, one pepper stood supreme on the chilli chart. As far back as 8,500 years ago, the habanero terrorised early Mexican civilisation. At 225,000 average Scoville units, this pepper stands at up to 140x hotter than your typical jalapeno. A pepper this hot is capable of some severe damage. Holding it unprotected can lead to chilli burns!
